After a few months of kicking back and enjoying the summer, we’ve now hit the ground running! Fall brings a freshness in the air, quickness to our steps and opportunity to reconnect. We’re ready to engage you in all kinds of exciting learning opportunities over the months to come.
Over the past week or so, we’ve been adding information, training events and discussion threads to the CALP Portal to prepare you to support your learners and involve your communities. We have a selection of required trainings (IAFL and the new CALP Essentials for Family Literacy Programs), Psychological First Aid courses, Study Groups, Communities of Practice and so much more ready for your consideration and registration.
Check out CALP Connections for information on new projects and pilots that will expand your thinking and practice too. Just around the corner is Symposium and if you haven’t registered yet – there’s still time! (deadline: September 13th). If you have a Board member who would like to attend – apply for a Bursary to cover the cost of the registration fee (CALP Portal login required) and invite them along. The more the merrier!
We’re excited to reconnect with you over the weeks to come and hear more about your training and support needs! If you don’t see what you are looking for on Portal yet – give us a call or send an email!
See you in a few weeks!
