The Read On Adult Literacy & Learning Program serves the community of Lethbridge and surrounding areas, providing learning assistance for adults up to a Grade 10 or Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB)7. Learning Assistance can be one-on-one with a tutor, and/or in small classes. Some classes help learners prepare for the CELPIP or IELTS language proficiency tests, or Canadian Citizen exam. Read On also provides pre- CAEC (GED) preparation. Other learning opportunities focus on foundational level skills including - IT (basic computer skills),  numeracy, and communication skills - listening, speaking, writing, and reading skills. For many adults, Read On could be the first step to Upgrading and Lethbridge Polytechic Programs. 

The only cost is usually a  $30 registration fee plus cost of printed materials. These can be reduced or waived if there are barriers. Bus tickets could be provided to ease transportation issues.
