The Importance of Learner Support Services

The purpose of Learner Support Services is to help adult learners achieve personal success in their individual learning and life goals, by providing access to a variety of resources, services, and referrals.  Learner Support Services is a very broad term that means something different to almost everyone.  It includes almost everything you do as CALP staff to support the learner, from creating a warm and welcoming environment for learners, to networking with other community organizations and attracting new learners to your CALP.
