Before We Begin

Whether you are brand new in your role, new to family literacy programming, or you have been working in a family literacy program for a while, this e-learning has been designed to help you with some tools and tips to support you in your role.

As you work through this e-learning, it will be helpful for you to have the following information nearby:

• Your most recent CALP Application
• Information regarding which family literacy programs are currently being offered in your community, and by whom (check at your local library, etc.)
• Any current needs assessments your organization has for your community (demographic information, adult literacy needs, etc.)
• A list of possible partners in your community (grocery stores, libraries, business companies, Royal Purple, Elks, faith communities, etc.)
