Step 8: Using Evaluation Forms
An evaluation process provides you with beneficial information at the completion of a program, including the learner’s assessment of the instructor/staff, learning space, materials provided and their overall experience. An evaluation also typically gives the learner an opportunity to talk about where they plan to use what they have learned, and to identify if they would like further learning in any area.
Many CALPs have developed a standard evaluation form for their programs. This can be completed as a written evaluation by the learner, or you may wish to use an evaluation form to guide an interactive Q and A with a learner (see Step 9: Using Exit Assessment Interviews)
Remember that asking learners to fill out a form is only one way of gathering their feedback about your program(s).
A number of Community Adult Learning Programs have shared the evaluation forms they use, and you can see these examples in the "Resources" section of the CALP Portal, or by CLICKING HERE.
