About this Workshop
When Kelly Schram and Georgina Supernault, the lead developers of these materials, started this project, they began by looking at how they interacted with each other on an individual and professional level.
"When we began exploring some of the aspects of this project, we started looking at the areas of misunderstanding between ourselves as a starting point. We identified some pretty profound learning we have had in these past years, and also began to quantify what we had not realized we learned in the ten years we have worked together. We hope you find some of that learning useful."
This e-learning is adapted from the participant manual for "Creating Safer Spaces: Indigenous Learning in the CALP Model", a training that was dveloped for Community Adult Learning Program, with funding support from the Government of Alberta.
The material is written from the perspective of the developers, and influenced by their experiences in their own community.
