e-Learning Overview
In this e-learning, you’ll learn how to plan, recruit, screen, train, and keep volunteers in ways that help your organization grow, connect with your community, and create safe, effective learning spaces. You’ll pick up practical tips and hear real stories from CALP practitioners in Alberta, so you can build systems that support both your volunteers and staff.
Through this e-learning, you will build your understanding of how to engage and support volunteers at every stage of their journey. You’ll learn to:
- Assess your organization’s needs and capacity for volunteers
- Develop clear policies, procedures, and risk management practices
- Create meaningful and well-defined volunteer roles
- Recruit volunteers strategically and inclusively
