The CLN will reimburse eligible attendees from CALP-funded organizations for their travel and other related expenses incurred when attending the Spring 2018 regional meeting. Please see below for CLN's expense guidelines for regional meetings.
Training Friday, April 27
Please remember to register for one of the two training options running concurrently on Friday, April 27 at the Grande Prairie Council for Lifelong Learning:
CLN will provide reimbursement for accommodation and meals for the night of Thursday, April 26 for those travelling from a distance greater than 200 km (one way) who attend Friday’s training. Please see below for CLN's expense guidelines for regional meetings.
Expense Guidelines for Regional Meetings
Travel/Mileage
Each CALP may claim reimbursement for one vehicle at the rate of 50.5 cents/km. (Receipts are not required.)
Meals
Lunch, snacks and refreshments will be provided at each CLN coordinated event. If you are traveling greater than 200 km, you may also be eligible for reimbursement of other meals. If eligible, receipts must be submitted. Please contact your Regional Support Staff for information.
Accommodation
CALP Staff traveling more than 200 km (one way) may also be reimbursed for accommodation. The number of hotel rooms eligible for reimbursement is based on two people per room. Receipts must be submitted. Our preferred hotel is the Pomeroy Inn and Conference Centre (next to the Prairie Mall). Please click here to book under the Community Learning Network for reduced rates. All other accommodation choices require pre-approval in order to receive reimbursement. Please contact your Regional Support Staff for information.
If you choose to stay with friends or family you may claim $25/night in lieu of hotel costs.
