Attendees should bring their own laptop or other Wi-Fi enabled device. Please ensure your device is fully charged for this training.

CALP Staff are invited to join this training day in Smoky Lake to explore the CALP Database.

Odette Lloyd, Communications Specialist for the Community Learning Network will provide an introductory-level overview in the morning, followed by an intermediate level session in the afternoon.

You may choose to attend the morning, the afternoon or the full day of training. Please also indicate if you will be joining us for lunch.

There is no fee to CALPs for this training, but pre-registration is required.

CALP Database 101

10:00 am – 12:00 pm

The morning session is designed for CALPs who are not yet using the CALP Database, those who have not yet had a chance to fully explore it, and for new CALP staff who are learning their way around the Database in their new roles.

CALP Database 102

1:00 pm – 3:30 pm

Intermediate level CALP Database training, questions and answers – The afternoon session will be designed for intermediate level training, and will allow for some more hands-on practice and exploration of some of the advanced features of the CALP Database.

You will also have the opportunity to ask specific questions related to your CALP's data and data management.

Pre-registration is required.

Attendees should to "Bring Your Own Device" (laptop) to this training. Please be sure your device is fully charged for this training.

A limited number of laptops may be available for those who cannot bring their own device. Please contact Val at east@calp.ca if you are unable to provide your own computer.
