ESL Practitioner’s Study Group – ESL Literacy Learners

Would you like to gather ideas for your ESL class or tutoring situation?  Would you like to connect with other ESL instructors and tutors?  If so join us in this exciting, interactive, online study group.   Participants in this group will have opportunity to gather ideas and solutions to address issues related to their own ESL context.   During this study group, participants will have an opportunity to explore and discuss the topic of ESL literacy learners.   

• Week one:  We will explore who ESL Literacy Learners are, including characteristics and language levels.
• Week two: We will explore learning strategies for ESL literacy learners. 
• Week three: We will explore teaching strategies when working with ESL literacy learners.  
• Week four: We will explore approaches for teaching oral language skills.
• Week five: We will explore approaches for teaching literacy skills.
