The Exploring Reading Strategies Study Group will meet online for a total of 6 sessions: Nov 28, Dec 12, Jan 16 & 30, Feb 13 & 27 from 10:00 a.m. - noon

Pulling from a number of manuals and resources, this online Study Group will review the five components of reading, instructional strategies to support each of the components and include opportunities to practice the strategies. The first meeting will provide an overview of why we focus on reading and the reading process. Each of the following sessions will highlight a single component of reading and explore two or three instructional strategies to support quality reading instruction. The final session will include an opportunity for review and further practice.
