Foundational Numeracy Study Group
Would you like to gather ideas for your numeracy class or tutoring situation? Would you like to connect with other numeracy instructors and tutors? If so, join us in this exciting, interactive, online study group. Participants in this group will have the opportunity to gather ideas and solutions to address issues related to their numeracy context using the NorQuest Foundational Numeracy Modules.
Week one – Monday, June 2, 11 am – 12:30 pm MST, 1.5 hrs: Introduction to NorQuest Foundational Numeracy resources and working with whole numbers (Modules 1-3)
Week two – Monday, June 9, 11 am – 12:00 pm MST, 1 hr: Working with decimals and fractions. (Modules 4 & 5)
Week three – Monday, June 16, 11 am – 12:00 pm MST, 1 hr: Working with integers and ratios (Modules 6 & 7)
Week four – Monday, June 23, 11 am – 12:00 pm MST, 1 hr: Working with measurement and pre-algebra concepts (Modules 8 & 9 NEW)
