Foundations to Teaching Pronunciation: Vowels & Consonants

Teaching pronunciation must focus on two main areas of spoken English: individual sounds and the rhythm of words and sentences. This workshop explores the first area – teaching individual sounds of vowels and consonants. English langauge tutors and instructors will identify some problematic sounds their learners struggle with and explore how to use a communicative lesson plan outline to teach these sounds more effectively.
