Indigenous Foundational Learning (IFL) Workshop
During this 1 1/2 day training you will learn to provide strategies for engagement and inclusiveness. Come celebrate Indigenous contributions while exploring Indigenous worldviews and histories. It is developed with culturally specific materials and incorporates elements of Indigenous teachings such as ceremony, talking circle and storytelling.

Aboriginal Literacy and Parenting Skills (A-LAPS)
During this 2 day facilitator training you will learn how to effectively deliver literacy and parenting programing to your Aboriginal learners. Build your group facilitation skills and learn new techniques for working with low literate learners. A-LAPS is an innovative family literacy program, created to strengthen the literacy and parenting skills of the parents and give them strategies to model good literacy practices with their children. Explore the barriers that Aboriginal learners face and learn how to help your clients overcome them! All program material is designed to be culturally sensitive and build the literacy skills of the entire family.
