Intro to ‘Parenting After Violence’ Facilitator Training Workshop

Parenting After Violence (PAV) is a program to assist vulnerable families who have been impacted by domestic violence and abuse. In this 1 ½ day
introductory workshop, you will learn how to facilitate a PAV program.

During the workshop participants explore:

  • The impact of violence on families and on learning
  • How to help families build their literacy and parenting skills
  • Strategies to assist families in moving forward in their lives and plan for a brighter future

Dates: November 6, 2018 - 9am-4pm and November 7, 2018 9am-12pm.

Cost: $100.00, includes lunch on day 1 and the PAV Facilitator’s Guide
