In this workshop, participants will explore ways to enhance learning for all students by creating a safe and inclusive classroom where LGBTQ+ identities can be shared and welcomed. To achieve this goal, participants will be introduced to inclusive language and international and Canadian laws. Participants will also examine classroom practices, learn how to adapt materials and discuss effective ways to navigate discussion of LGBTQ+ issues.
