New Beginnings (IPAV/PAV) Facilitator Training

New Beginnings (IPAV/PAV) – In Person Facilitator Training
New Beginnings is a parenting after violence literacy program designed to help families who have been impacted by domestic violence and abuse. Parents increase confidence and literacy skills through parenting topics, focusing on the impact of violence and guiding families in planning for the future. Workshop participants will explore the impact of violence on families, methods for enhancing literacy and parenting skills, and strategies to move forward. This in person program incorporates general cultural traditions and aspects, as well as Indigenous traditional learning and cultural techniques. Participants also learn how to integrate the New Beginnings program lessons into their own programming.
