Numeracy Study Group

Foundational Numeracy Professional Development facilitated by Alberta Routes
Would you like to gather ideas for your numeracy class or tutoring situation? Would you like to connect with other numeracy instructors and tutors? If so, join us in this exciting, interactive, online study group. Participants in this group will have the opportunity to gather ideas and solutions to address issues related to their numeracy context and NorQuest's Foundational Numeracy Modules. All sessions start at 10 am and participants are expected to attend all sessions.
Week one - Nov 17, 2025 – 1.5 hrs: Introduction to NorQuest Foundational Numeracy resources and working with whole numbers (Modules 1-3)
Week two - Nov 24, 2025 – 1 hr: Working with decimals and fractions. (Modules 4 & 5)
Week three – Dec 1 – 1 hr: Working with integers and ratios (Modules 6 & 7)
Week four – Dec 8 – 1 hr: Working with measurement and pre-algebra concepts (Modules 8 & 9 NEW)
These study groups will be held online using Teams. A link will be sent out before the group's first session.
