Conversation groups and classes can be a versatile and effective way for newcomers to develop language skills. Participants will learn about the benefits of conversation classes for English language learners and the different ways that conversation groups can be organized to meet learner needs. Participants will also focus on ideas and tips to use in tutorial sessions and classrooms, and expand their "toolbox" of conversation activities to encourage learners to communicate.
