This workshop is for instructors, tutors, and program staff who work with English language learners. In this workshop, participants will learn to define trauma and examine the ways it impacts both individuals and the learning environment. Participants will explore principles and practice in trauma-informed care and how they can support trauma-impacted learners. They will also learn and practise different calming techniques to use with learners.
