Girls donate hair

Haley and Regan are twins. They live in Camrose, Alberta. They are 12 years old.

In 2003, the twins learned that some cancer patients lose their hair. Companies make wigs for the patients.

The twins decided to donate their hair for wigs. They grew their hair for six years.

In March 2009, the girls said goodbye to their long hair. Students at their school watched the big event.
