Brother and sister climb mountain

This is Sherry with her brother Wayne on July 4. They are on top of Mt. Rundle. It is near Banff.

Sherry has muscular dystrophy. Her legs are very weak. Wayne and his friends carried Sherry up the mountain in a backpack. 

Sherry said, “This is very, very special.I will never, ever forget this day.”

2008 update

• Sherry lives in Ottawa with her partner. They like to go boating on the Ottawa River.

   

  

• For their next trip, Wayne and Sherry are going on a tall ship.
