Helicopter ride

I have never been in a helicopter, but some of my family have.

In 2003, there was a flood in Jamaica. A river flooded and left my family stranded. They were surrounded by water, with no food to eat.

The government sent out a helicopter to rescue people. When the helicopter came, my sister Ann almost got blown away into the water. My mother called out to her to get down.

The helicopter took my family to a shelter.
