Lab day
We are students at Northern Lakes College. It has many campuses in northern Alberta.
We are in the Adult Basic Education Program.
We came down from 30 campuses for Lab Day. We learned about the 5 Ws: who, what, when, where, why.
It is a great way to help understand stories and learn to write better.
Lab Day happens 2 times a year, in October and March.
We met in Slave Lake in October 2006.
We get together:
- to learn
- to get a better job
- to create a more positive life
- to meet new people
Upgrading takes:
- commitment
- determination
- a positive attitude
- sacrifice
But it pays off when you reach your education or job goals.
