Nancy's story

I was born in Ontario in 1978. I was the second child. I have five brothers and three sisters.

I could not go to school. We worked in Canada in the summer and in Mexico in the winter.

In 1996, I got married. Now my husband and I live in Alberta with our four children.

I joined a literacy program in January 2006. I am so happy to be able to read and write better now.
