The "Gathering to Learn: Unlocking the barriers and opening doors to Adult Foundational Learning" resource guides readers through four key stages of the learning pathway: Find, Attract, Engage and Retain. Each stage is supported by research, stories, quotes, resources, links and checklists tailored to that particular pathway. The themes stand alone making this an accessible resource that will be well used and appreciated by new and experienced CALP staff alike.
To help you get to know the resource a bit better, the developers put together a series of four short video blogs, which you can find and watch on the Gathering to Learn Featured Resource page on the Portal.
This resource was developed for Alberta's Community Adult Learning Program by CARYA Bowmont Families Together, with funding from the Government of Alberta.
