These two videos were created to accompany the Opening Doors: A Literacy Audit Tool Kit for Customer Service Excellence (2008) resource. The videos continue to be relevant and provide meaningful insight into the challenges adults with low literacy face and the impact in their lives when given the opportunity to improve their literacy skills.
Our Stories: Six adult literacy learners tell their stories about the impact of literacy in their lives. You’ll learn how you can play an active role helping people with low literacy skills. You’ll also learn important facts about literacy skills.
Opening the Door: Learn the challenges adults with low literacy skills face when trying to access community services, the role of a literacy audit and the life changes as a result of accessing literacy programs and increasing literacy skills.
