This research project was made possible through a grant from the City of Edmonton’s Anti-Racism grant program, from Dec 2024 – November 2025. It resulted in a video-based OER that can be used in your classrooms to promote deeper empathy, and build diverse, inclusive, and equitable communities in Alberta.
View the OER at Open Education Alberta: https://pressbooks.openeducationalberta.ca/unfoldinghistories/
*Note: Full transcripts will be made available online soon, to facilitate accessible access and learning opportunities.
Use the OER in your classroom. See an attached document containing the interview questions explored in the resource and suggested learning prompts.
Watch and share the compilation video: https://vimeo.com/1130036058?fl=pl&fe=vl
The resource has been shared by NorQuest on LinkedIn - share widely to help promote deeper understanding of immigrant experiences. https://www.linkedin.com/posts/norquest-college_norquestcollege-activity-7399549675533426688-6yjt
