Session Description:

Are you a family literacy practitioner in a CALP-funded program? Would you like to learn how to develop or adapt your family literacy programs to teach adult literacy and foundational learning skills? In this participatory one-day training, CALP-funded staff will gain understanding of adult literacy strategies and learn how to teach adult foundational skills that engage the whole family. Materials and strategies learned in the training are transferrable to all literacy and foundational learning areas.

NOTE: Participants are encouraged to complete the CALP Essentials for Family Literacy Programs training prior to registering for this training. Key information and concepts covered in the CALP Essentials for Family Literacy Programs training provide a foundation that supports further learning through this training. Check the Training and Events calendar for upcoming training events. 

Registration Deadline: Monday, January 27, 2020 (A minimum of 8 people is required to run this training.)

Cancellation and Refund Guideline/Procedure:

If you are unable to attend a training event, you must notify Community Learning Network via email of all cancellations prior to the first day of the training. Non-attendance does not constitute notice of withdrawal.

If Notice of Cancellation is given 10 or more business days before the training event, the registration fee is eligible for a refund, less a $25.00 administrative fee.

If Notice of Cancellation is given fewer than 10 business days before the first day of the training event, the registration fee is nonrefundable.
