Indigenous Workplace Learning Circles - Online Facilitator Training

Indigenous Workplace Learning Circles (IWLC) supports foundational learners, individuals new to the workplace, and those returning to work. The program builds on participants’ strengths by integrating traditional culture and language with employment readiness training, strengthening confidence and literacy skills.

This interactive facilitator training walks you through the IWLC curriculum, sharing practical tools and strategies to help you adapt and use the program, activities, and resources in your own setting.

This training is valuable for anyone working with Indigenous learners, clients, or communities, including those supporting employment readiness, life skills, or literacy development.

Topics covered include:

Embedding Skills for Success into everyday activities tailored to learners’ literacy and readiness levels
Tips and techniques for literacy, cultural, in-person, and online facilitation
Customizing IWLC activities and resources to reflect your learners, culture, and community context

Training includes:

Facilitator's Guides
Program Visuals/Slides
Access to self-paced eLearning courses to explore and use with learners
