Alberta Routes Advisors invite you to join an interactive six-session study group designed to explore key concepts in social justice and equity. Together, we’ll develop critical perspectives on complex issues such as racism, oppression, privilege, and power. Participants will be encouraged to engage thoughtfully and courageously, examining their own identities in relation to knowledge, skills, and attitudes. This is a space for reflection, dialogue, and growth—where learning is both personal and collective.
- Week 1: Diversity, equity and inclusion
- Week 2: Race, racism, racial discrimination and racialization
- Week 3: Intersectionality
- Week 4: Oppression and power
- Week 5: Privilege
- Week 6: Putting it all together
