Purim Fanya is from Russia.

She lives in Calgary now. She takes ESL* classes.

Fanya celebrates Purim (say: poor-im).

It is a Jewish holiday. It begins on February 27 this year. Fanya says, "Purim is a very happy holiday."

 

 

Fanya makes special treats for Purim. They are called hamentashen.
