Learners' Voices in CALP
CALP stands for Community Adult Learning Program. CALPs are found in communities across Alberta. They help adults learn new skills like reading, writing, math, and using a computer.
CALPs are funded by the Government of Alberta. They offer programs in:
- Reading and writing
- Math
- Learning Skills
- Basic Computer Skills
- English Language Learning
Adult learners are at the heart of every CALP. When we work with learners, we stay connected to our communities. We learn from them just as much as they learn from us. These connections make our organizations and communities stronger.
CALP wouldn't exist without them.
We asked learners to share their stories about learning at a CALP in Alberta.
