4. Use of Personal Data in the Public Space

  • Any information that members disclose in a public space, including on any discussion board or comment section, is available to anyone else whose account provides access to that space. Community Learning Network cannot safeguard any information you disclose there.

  • Request access to or correction of your personal data.
  • Opt out of non-essential data processing by contacting us directly.

6. Third-Party Services

  • CALP leverages Ignite Web Solutions' Members Village platform for CRM, database, and email services. All third-party providers comply with CALP's privacy commitments.
  • The CALP Portal contains many links to sites that belong to third parties unrelated to us. Community Learning Network cannot be held responsible for any use of your personal information arising from you disclosing personal information on such third party sites. Community Learning Network cannot protect any information you may disclose on these sites and recommends that you review the privacy policy statements of those sites you visit.

7. Reservation of Rights

  • Community Learning Network reserves the right to disclose information about members where required in good faith, to do so by law or to exercise our legal rights or defend ourselves against legal claims.
  • Community Learning Network further reserves the right to share information with law enforcement to investigate or prevent illegal activities being committed over our network.
  • Community Learning Network reserves our rights to disclose your personal information where you have given us explicit consent to do so.
  • Community Learning Network reserves the right to monitor user and network traffic for site security purposes and to prevent any unauthorized attempts to tamper with our site or cause damage to our property.
  • Community Learning Network may, in its sole discretion, with or without notice, suspend or terminate your use of this site, and remove and discard any content on the site, for any reason. Community Learning Network may also bar you from any future access to the site. Community Learning Network will not be liable to you for any such suspension, termination or prohibition on future access.
  • Community Learning Network reserves the right to make changes to this privacy policy or to update it. Where a major change is made, members will be informed by e-mail notification or through a notice on our website. Members and site visitors bear the responsibility to ensure that they have read the changes or updates as the case may be.
